LOCAL ARTIST JEAN
STEINHARDT PARTICIPATES IN SILENT AUCTION TO BENEFIT FOSTER CARE
How You Can Help, Too
That?s all there is to it. If yours is the winning bid, Jean Steinhardt
will draw a portrait of your house. All
proceeds will go toward helping
Jean has volunteered to produce one of his acclaimed
custom house portraits for the person who makes the highest bid for the
service.
The purpose of a house portrait is to evoke warm
memories associated with the house. Using
your photographs as a starting point, Jean can add or remove trees, shrubs and
flowers to match your memories of the house at a particular point in time. So, for example, if the tree you climbed in
as a child isn?t in the photo, you can request that it be included in the
drawing.
Jean?s detailed pen and ink renditions typically
require more than 40 hours of effort.
That?s a lot of time, but the results are impressive.
View examples of Jean?s work at www.jeansteinhardt.com. Better yet, attend the Trinity gala at the
Red Door and see a full size house portrait on display. Make the winning bid, and you can make
yourself ? and some foster kids ? happy at the same time.
